I went to Stories Live yesterday telling the stories behind some of the portraits from the National Portrait Gallery. Mixed with very old history icons to lesser known heart jerking and inspiring people and covering three people in our present day still living.
These words printed as you enter struck a chord. I feel I need to be George’s narrator.
A role George hated in life he was always given narrator parts in primary school never an acting part. He was always underwhelmed with this, bless him.
In the years since my son’s death I have learnt to weave stories and echoes of George into my present day as connections.
It gives me comfort but more importantly it brings the joy of that moment he was here living again and that is priceless ❤️
With love
Tracy (George’s Mum)
